Apprentice Fitter Machinist Opportunity
Ai Group Apprentice and trainee centre is a group training organisation who employees apprentices and trainees and then places them with host organisations.
Our Host employer Alchin Long Group in Wetherill Park is seeking an Engineering Mechanical Trade (Fitter Machinist) apprentice.

The role of the Fitter Machinist Apprenticeship will be primarily based at the Azuma factory in Wetherill Park, Azuma is one of Australia’s largest privately-owned compliance testing and engineering companies.
The company offers a wide range of industrial design, engineering and testing services throughout the Asia-Pacific region, including load testing, cycle testing, impact testing, accelerated corrosion testing and wind and water penetration testing.
With both NATA and IQNet accreditation, Azuma is capable of testing to Australian and international standards.
The successful apprentice will be taught all aspects of the Engineering Mechanical Fitter trade and will attend TAFE to complete their Certificate 3 in Engineering Mechanical Trade qualification.
As we value your development, we support you to complete a Certificate III Engineering Mechanical Apprenticeship, this training will involve:
> Examine and evaluate drawings and specification for requirements.
> Operate and adjust metalworking machines and create parts or tools by turning, boring, milling, shaping, slotting, grinding or drilling metal stock or components.
> Fit and assemble metal parts, tools or sub-assemblies (including brazing or welding parts, repair or replace faulty parts).
> Cut, thread, bend and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines.
> Set up and/or operate hand and machine tools, welding equipment
> Ensure accuracy and quality of finished parts, tools or sub-assemblies
