Engineering Lead
 
Sirius’s financial client is looking for an experienced engineering lead who has run small teams within an agile environment previously. This is an opportunity to be part of an industry shake up due to the merger of two large clients. You will be brought in to help build out and support scalable systems.
 
Location: Sydney CBD
Package: Neg depending on experience

Responsibilities
 

• Building full-stack, robust, scalable software
• Developing clean, maintainable code that is suitable for continuous integration and deployment
• Communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences from both businesses
• Help to drive the team from planning, resource allocation, design, coding, deployment, and support

Experience
 

• Strong experience in React and associated technologies
• Strong experience in NodeJS, Typescript and associated technologies
• Strong understanding of event-driven systems (Kafka)
• Experience in containerization (Docker)
• RESTful Services experience
• Proficient understanding of Git and code management tools
