The Opportunity
The Regional and Outer Metropolitan division is focused on understanding the particular needs of regional communities across NSW and delivering customer-centred integrated transport services and infrastructure.
We have a permanent full-time opportunity for a Mechanical Tradesperson to join our Regional Maintenance team in Bega NSW.
You will be working under limited supervision primarily undertaking maintenance and repairs on a range of plant items, vehicles and mechanical equipment such as Graders, Tractors, and Bitumen sprayers. As part of a diverse crew, you may also be required to supervise apprentices or staff assisting other Mechanical Tradespersons.

About you
You are an ambitious, collaborative and computer literate plant mechanic who enjoys working within a team. With a strong focus on safety, you have the ability to identify, communicate and report environmental hazards in the workplace and understand the quality requirements of the tasks to be performed within this position.
It is essential you have a White card and trade qualifications as an Automotive Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (must be obtained before commencing).
Wage and Benefits
The wage for this position is Mechanical Trades Grade 1 ($1259.54) per week plus superannuation.
