About Us

South Coast Facility Services is one of the leading providers of residential and commercial cleaning across the Shoalhaven and Illawarra region. We service a variety of clients, including residential, B&Bs, holiday rentals, aged care, disability and healthcare facilities, commercial, industrial, and retail sites, tourist accommodations, office buildings, construction sites, food manufacturers, and rural properties and farms.

Due to recent growth, we are seeking to expand our team and are looking for qualified carpenters to work in various locations across the Nowra and the Illawarra region.

About The Role
  • Maintenance carpentry work including reroofing, fence work, fixing pergolas, window fitting, assembling furniture, laying out floorings, and conducting other minor repairs or maintenance.
  • Assess sites and be an active part of the consultation process to understand a client?s needs.
  • Reading blueprints and drawings to set out as per instructions.
  • Communicating with clients and staff in a professional manner, where duties will include quoting.
  • Working both independently and as part of a team.

Minimum Requirements
  • Trade qualifications
  • Construction Industry Safety Induction (White Card)
  • Preferably have your own vehicle and an Australian Driver Licence.
  • Valid working rights in Australia

Skills And Capabilities
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to read and follow plans
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and take pride in your work.
  • Understanding of WHS requirements.
  • Reliability and the ability to work under pressure are a must.
  • Honest and trustworthy.
  • Basic understanding of technology or willingness to learn.
