Job Description
As a key member of the service team, you will collaborate across the group service departments to enhance machine up time and health for internal and external customers using telematics solutions, available resources, and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing assistance where required across the group in all aspects of diagnosing complex problems, this includes over the phone and in field support Conducts or supports customer clinics
  • Using John Deere technology to extract data from our machines and transform it into valuable recommendations or insights, to help customers make better, more informed decisions
  • Performing diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology in the field as required
  • Providing guidance with non-standard installations and modifications of product accessories
  • Developing, documenting, communicating, and monitoring effective Service Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction as well as Service Department efficiencies are maintained at a high level. Provide guidance on best practice

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering or similar
  • Demonstrated familiarity with local agricultural systems and/or machinery
  • A proven ability to build strong internal client relationships
  • A proven ability to achieve and exceed set targets
  • A proven ability to problem solves and work autonomously
  • Unrestricted rights to work in Australia
  • Current Driver’s License
