Established in 2008, ICEC Group is an Australian commercial electrical services firm with teams of dedicated staff across Sydney and NSW. ICEC specialises in electrical fit out projects within the commercial, government and industrial sectors.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced estimator to fill a newly created full-time role within a growing company. The successful candidate will work within the collaborative team at head office to tender for projects ranging from $40k – $1m across the commercial and industrial sectors.

The successful applicant will be able to work independently and with support, will be leading and responsible for the tender processes and management within the company. This position will also interact with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Estimating electrical works and following up on tender submissions
• Completing all relevant documents in relation to tender submissions
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors
• Providing sound, qualified decision making to the estimating process
• Recognition of Value engineering and cost saving initiatives.
• Any other duties as required by the business

The ideal applicant

• 2+ years electrical estimating experience within the commercial sector
• Be a dynamic self-starter, effectively able to manage their time, resources and ideas to contribute to the growth of the company.
• Be confident in client communication and relationship-building
• Utilise their experience to contribute to the growth of the business
