InfraBuild Construction Solutions is a premier supplier of steel reinforcing solutions to tier 1 builders and mega infrastructure projects across Australia. Servicing commercial, residential, and civil construction as well as the mining, agriculture and manufacturing sectors.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to help manage projects from conception through to completion. The key responsibilities include;

* Build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders
* Ensure all projects adhere to local regulatory requirements
* Technical understanding of Structural elements and Standards
* Allocate, distribute and track management of scheduling resources for projects across both internal and outsourced teams.
* Develop and program processing reinforcing steel schedules through internal systems for the timely production and delivery of reinforcement to project sites
* Conduct preplanning and resource forecasting in consultation with the Project Manager
* Identify opportunities to provide value added solutions.

About your experience

You are a self-driven Project Engineer with great attention to detail and a friendly, cooperative working manner. Your skills beyond your technical capabilities will include;

* 5+ years' experience in Major Projects construction industry
* Civil/Structural Engineering Qualification
* Knowledge and experience in the application of Australian Standards and key construction system techniques
* Advanced knowledge of reinforcement drawings and ability to interpret these drawings
* Experience interpreting programme milestones from Microsoft project and Primavera Six
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* ArmaPlus experience or other reinforcement scheduling software experience.
