OurMoneyMarket is looking for an SEM Specialist to take ownership of the paid campaign budget and invest into direct marketing digital channels. We are looking for someone that is not just limited to Search in terms of campaign types but can work with a magnitude of display, remarketing and video campaign types across all major ad platforms. This job allows you to take a bit more ownership of your work and to be part of an energetic and passionate marketing team. You will be working alongside a digital marketing manager, a designer, a developer and a content writer. You will take the lead on targeting our bullseye audience and prove effective spend of marketing budgets. 


OurMoneyMarket is a diversified fintech company that utilizes API technologies to provide a range of B2B and B2C clients. The company also operates in the BNPL space with Handypay and which is a fast growing company. Originally based in Adelaide, the company is steadily growing its Melbourne operation.


Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Meeting lead targets and sales KPIs by planning marketing budget across multiple channels including but not limited to SEM (Google Ads and Bing), Google Display Network, Facebook Ads, Product Listings, Gmail Sponsored Promotions, TrueView, Mobile and Retargeting.
  • Creating retargeting segments based on site sections, frequency of visits and other behavioural attributes for remarketing. Creating soft segments from blogs, generic searches etc. so these leads can be nurtured through remarketing. 
  • Driving brand awareness at the top of the sales funnel and quantifying banner impact campaign using view-through conversion tracking and follow-on brand searches.
  • Expert in Google Tag Manager to trigger, manage and version all tracking codes within GTM container.
  • Studying user engagement, user behaviour, relevancy of content and navigational flows to ensure that path to conversion is always un-restricted, supportive of the online goal and clear of any distractions. Getting landing page changes and A/B testing facilitated through online dev manager. 
  • Expert in Advanced Analytics studies using Google Analytics and visual analytics like heatmapping and session recordings;
  • Working with events and other variables in the data layer to ensure that all visitor level paths can be tagged and observed for opportunities;
  • Consulting and participating in the formation of company’s digital advertising strategy;
  • Carrying out competitor research and monitoring competitive environment and uncovering industry level insights.


  • Minimum 3year’s experience in Google Ads running search, display and remarketing campaigns ;
  • Have over 3 years of experience managing Social Ads on e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn or Pinterest Ads;
  • Experience with creating copy for ad text;
  • Extensive experience in mobile campaigns;
  • Knowledge and application of best practice for pay per click;
  • Advanced Google Analytics Skills;
  • Ability to A/B test our Ads and campaigns;
  • Effective time management and takes on responsibility
  • Above all else, someone who can bring relevant traffic making best use of the budget and monitor it through reporting and subject matter expertise.
