We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Infrastructure Engineer, to support the IT function of the business. This key role will work collaboratively with other business functions to set up, decommission and relocate the IT equipment and services within our display centres. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager some key accountabilities of this role include:

  • Provide onsite support to display centres regarding IT equipment and services
  • Install, configure, network, diagnose, monitor, maintain, support, and upgrade all IT corporate hardware and equipment
  • Ensure the optimal performance of all hardware and network for Display Homes and Simonds offices
  • Respond to calls and emails from internal Level 1 and 2 escalations, accurately identify the cause of the issues
  • Assist the broader IT team and external service provider in maintaining the network and implementing new technologies
  • Decommission all IT equipment and services from Display Centres that are scheduled to be closed


Ideally, we are looking for someone who has:

  • A tertiary degree/diploma in a IT related discipline (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years IT experience
  • Intermediate level proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Well-developed verbal, written communication, and numerical skills
  • A high standard of time management, problem solving and prioritising activities
  • Strong relationship building and consultation skills with an ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Good knowledge of networking, LANs, WANs, Internet, Intranet, security, wireless, firewall, Cisco and other systems/requirements.
  • Good knowledge of network devices: routers, switches, access points, cabling, and other networking equipment.
