The Role

We are seeking a Full-Time energic and dynamic Project Engineer to drive and assist in the delivery of works based at our Wangara office.

The successful applicant will be liaising and collaborating with Management as well as Supervisors/Leading Hands on site ensuring prompt project delivery.

In addition to working with a great team, the successful applicant will receive ongoing project exposure allowing you to further develop your technical and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation of project specifications and preparation of related QA-QC documentation including Inspection Test Plans, Field Inspection Records, MDR etc
  • Estimate, prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor assigned projects
  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
  • Creation and updating of project documentation including schedules/gantt charts
  • Undertake site inspections to ensure compliance to specifications
  • Procurement support inc. Subcontract / Supplier QA-QC management
  • Ensure site documents are completed effectively.
  • Prepare end of month forecasting of project costs, revenue and margin.
  • Liaise with SRG Management team on any commercial/contractual obligations
  • Liaise with relevant Manager in the assessing of quantities/cost of materials, equipment and labor to determine continued project feasibility

The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Cert IV in Project Management desirable but not essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in project scoping and estimating.
  • Demonstrated experience in cost, procurement and quality management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical scopes.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise a diverse range of tasks.
