Do you come from an extensive career within Managed Services? Have you gained a broad technology background across infrastructure, network, public cloud and security, that you utilise to advise and consult to a variety of SME businesses?

This is a unique Presales Solution Architect opportunity where your role will not be product aligned but multifaceted across a diverse range of infrastructure solutions!

You will be part of a multi-branded global Managed Services Provider, with many potential career opportunities due to internal growth!

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
  • Actively working with the Sales team to uncover, qualify and propose technology services opportunities and solutions that add real value to customers.
  • Queries from internal and external stakeholders are responded to quickly and accurately
  • Articulate and present statement of works, and solution design documents that are concise, well defined, and easily understood by customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with Customers, Sales staff, and operations team
  • Provide training & consulting to customers where required
  • Assist with the creation of proposals and tender responses
  • Undertake discovery audits & service delivery discussions with potential customers
  • Previous experience working for a Managed Services Provider with Midmarket customers
  • Strong understanding of Managed IT service framework
  • Previous experience in business requirements gathering, solution scoping, and technical documentation & proposal writing
  • Previous experience in documenting, presenting, and communicating technical solutions to the layperson
  • Exposure to project management methodologies and procedures within an ICT environment
  • Demonstrates a systemised approach to identifying opportunities and solutions to meet Customers’ business objectives
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload.
  • Demonstrates proven experience in consulting with non-technical customers to provide technology outcomes that innovate their business
  • Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure & Cloud Services as well as design & conception
