About the Business

Heatseal is an expanding business in the of the South West of Western Australia. Recently moving into the manufacture of PVCu frames and IGU's and other related glass products Due to this expansion we are looking for someone who is a qualified glazier to join our tight team . This person needs to be a Glazier who also has the knowledge in the Construction Of IGU s , and all the related machinery required to put a sealed unit together ,from the computer operated glass cutting table to the putting the Argon gas into the units.

Qualifications & experience

• At least 5 years experience required
• Experience in glazing UPVc double glazed products
• Experience in the construction of double glazed units (IGU's)
• The ability to use a glass washer, hot melt machine and a computerised cutting table
• Remove old windows;
• Professionally Install structures and fixtures, such as double glazed windows on new construction, residential, industrial sites;
• Fabricate Window Screens and glass repairs;
• Maintain safe working environment by obeying safety rules at all times;
• Diagnose and resolve complex installation issues;
• Load and unload materials from truck onto work site;
• Work in a team environment to perform duties safely;
• Instruct and direct labours and other construction helpers;
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering customer questions and addressing concerns;
• Responsible for cleanup inside and outside of each job location;
• Maintain accurate inventory of materials, equipment and supplies;
• Provide assistance by reporting necessary repairs and recommendations as necessary to assist project estimator and planner.
