About the Role:

Community Housing Limited (CHL) Group of Companies is an innovative and best practice affordable housing organisation which assists access to, develops and manages sustainable housing for people in need.

We are looking for a committed and experienced electrician to join our Internal Maintenance team in providing high quality grounds and property maintenance to our customers.

You will:

  • Undertake hands-on electrical installations, maintenance and repairs.
  • Any other works as required (rubbish removals, gardening etc)
  • Ensure jobs are completed on time and to required standards
  • Mentoring and ad hoc supervision of IMS Apprentice electrician
  • Identify future works while onsite

All while interacting effectively with customers and stakeholders to ensure quality Internal Maintenance Services are provided.

What will success look like?

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Trade qualified in relevant discipline (electrical trades certificate)
  • Have or the ability to obtain an electrical practitioners licence
  • Excellent communication skills
  • White card (or ability to obtain)
  • Current Driver’s Licence (mandatory)
  • A commitment to the right of all people to affordable and sustainable housing.
