We are currently looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Major Service Provider (MSP) team, based in Adelaide.

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Sustainment Transition Manager to facilitate delivery of the Systems Program Office (SPO) components of the capability/platform’s Project Office Transition Plan and associated Materiel/Functional Transition Plans.

You will have responsibility for reviewing and facilitating OC SPO approval of each component of the capabilities transition plan, as well as engaging with the Sustainment Transition Manager to facilitate inputs to the development of the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) precinct at RAAF Base Edinburgh.

To be successful in the role of Senior Systems Engineer - Support you will need to bring with you:

  • Tertiary Engineering qualifications with extensive experience in an Electronics or Systems Engineering role
  • Defence project experience, preferably within sustainment.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in building and maintaining stakeholder relations
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities, multi task and work under pressure


Candidates will be required to hold or have a recently held an Australian Government NV1 clearance

Our MSP (Major Service Provider) Division, is part of a consortium of independent, technical partners, which include Nova Systems and PwC; supported by a range of specialist SMEs. We share and support Defence’s commitment to growing and improving Australia’s military capability. We do this by delivering large, long term, integrated work packages across the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG). In doing so we work closely with both uniformed and public service staff to help plan the acquisition and support of advanced military systems and equipment through the provision of rigorous analysis, advice and assurance; we relish solving the unique and challenging problems this work entails.
