ABOUT THE ROLE

The Solution Architect is responsible for planning, designing and developing technology solutions while understanding and mapping business requirements to systems / technical requirements to ensure they align with enterprise architectural plans. Requiring general knowledge across verticals (e.g. network / security), the position is a cross disciplinary specialist who provides leadership and guidance to other Architects, project members and delivery teams.

ABOUT YOU

As the Solution Architect, you will be the orchestrator of technology solutions. You will have exceptional hands–on experience in the delivery of sizeable infrastructure, storage, backup, network and/or cloud adoption/migration projects. We are looking for someone who can provide expert advice on the strategic direction of technology investments to assist in the development of enterprise architecture and maximise the return on technology investments as well as develop, test and implement technology solutions and report on delivery commitments to ensure solutions are implemented as expected and to agreed budgets and timeframes.

You should be able to provide advice on technical aspects of solution development and integration to deliver specialist guidance and support. You will bring a successful track record in Solution Architecture and technical sales, with outstanding business knowledge – corporate structure, ROI, TCO budget, planning strategy, etc. You will be self-driven, possess excellent customer liaison skills, have impeccable communication skills.

You will also be analytical, organised and a natural problem solver. You enjoy building trusting relationships, collaborating with your Team and taking initiative.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Degree qualification in related field or equivalent significant experience
  2. Experience in developing enterprise level ICT target strategies and architectures for platform environments for packaged and/or large-scale cloud applications
  3. Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description

WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE

This position offers a base salary of $159,035 p.a. plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
