Hanson is one of the world leaders in heavy materials, building and construction and holds a reputation for product and service excellence. Due to significant growth and demand across the Western Region, Hanson is seeking to appoint a Supply Chain Manager - North West to deliver oversee and manage the Region’s Concrete & Quarry supply chain relationships. This role will focus on driving logistics optimisation and operational excellence, maximize the productivity process and ensure delivery on customer expectations.

In your new role, you will:
Drive leadership through Excellence with the ability to liaise with varying levels of internal and external stakeholders
Ensure an efficient and cost effective logistics operation and implement a collaborative internal function to ensure an effective supply chain service is delivered.
Develop a seamless collaboration with the North West Concrete & Quarry Operations to ensure timely supply and order fulfilment.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure quality and best price on externally supplied raw materials
Ensure adherence to maintenance requirements across plant, mobile equipment and trucks
Efficient day-to-day management of site operations including the preparation of budgets and P&L
Manage high risk activities and reduce risk exposure for self and others.
Ensure all plant and equipment comply with Government legislative requirements

This role is a great fit for you, if you have:
Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain or Logistics or similar field will be highly regarded
An ability to support continuous improvement across the Supply Chain process
At least 2 years’ experience in Aggregate, Concrete or Transport Operations preferred
A demonstrated track record in delivering transformational change within a complex businesses environment.
The capability to deliver exceptional negotiation and influencing skills when interacting with varying levels of internal and external stakeholders.
Solid experience with end to end Supply Chain management products and aggregates
A strong Leadership mentality with the commitment to increase performance and productivity within a dynamic team environment.
The ability to establish good performance through insight and innovative planning
The robust capability to ensure accurate forecasting across inventory management and manage cost effective practices.
