THE OPPORTUNITY

An exciting opportunity has become available for an ambitious Maintenance Handyman based in Sydney. As a highly motivated Handyman you will require strong knowledge of the building and construction industry combined with a high level of attention to detail and computer skills. The role is site-based and full-time, with responsibilities including but not limited to all on site general maintenance and repairs. You will also be building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Undertake aspects of the Carpentry trade, including reactive and planned maintenance
• Arrange the inspection, maintenance and repair of tools
• Monitor the WHSE management system including safe work method statements to ensure hazards are identified, assessed and controlled
• Provide efficient and effective customer service
• Ensure all works are compliant to Australian standard

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Working at Heights
• Elevated Work Platform (Under 11m)
• Strong, effective communication skills (written & verbal)
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to administration systems
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
