We provide services to public and private clients with a focus on Roads, Bridges and Tunnels, Rail and Civil Infrastructure projects.

ACCIONA is now looking for a Project Engineer based in Sydney. Reporting to a Project Manager, the Project Engineer coordinate all technical activities on the Projects or tenders as required such as Plans, schedules, conducts.

As Project Engineer, you will responsible to monitors work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, and ACCIONA standards; ensures effective communication and coordination between all disciplines and all other project/tender participants.

Your keys objectives are, but not limited to:

  • Engagement and management of key contractors and suppliers
  • Implementing and managing construction methodologies and staging for the project’s delivery to mitigate impacts to all stakeholders
  • Overseeing and managing the electrical staging design of the project with the nominated designers, client and ensuring statutory, contract, deed and design standards requirements satisfied the financial and constructability requirements for nominated design packages
  • Responsible and accountable to ensure that all assigned personnel are coordinating their activities with other project participants and that the requirements of the Contract are being satisfied
  • Participate in Client/contractor meetings and resolving Client/engineering and project management issues

To be considered for this role you will demonstrate knowledge and experience with large scale civil, transport and main Roads projects with sound knowledge of Australian and International Standards. You possess a few years’ experience post qualification in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification accepted by Engineers Australia.
