A lot of our work centres around resorts and hotels that support conservation projects in countries like Panama, Tanzania, Rwanda and Mozambique.

We hold a genuine desire to integrate business thinking into the mission of saving our planet’s diminishing terrestrial and marine environments and work with globally renowned family offices, private wealth institutions, governments, national parks and environmental agencies to craft sustainable investment strategies in some of the world’s most pristine and iconic locations.

Position & Experience

We are looking for a recent graduate or professional with 2 to 3 years of experience in Landscape Architecture, Master Planning or Urban Design to join our small international team of five based in Sydney and the UK.

An ideal candidate should be passionate about the environment with an interest in how modern economic models can support the protection of the globe’s natural resources.

Must have strong design and graphics skills and be able to work at a variety of scales from macro-master planning to detailed landscape design across a variety of design-based software.

You will primarily be involved in projects in Rwanda and Mozambique, working remotely under the direction of our Sydney Director. Strong written English, communication skills and ability to self-manage to deadlines is therefore essential.

Typical Responsibilities

  • Creating and updating master planning maps and diagrams based on input from multiple consultant partners. Programs required are Autocad, Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Creating and updating Master Planning Reports, Investment Reports and Pitch Decks for new projects using Powerpoint and Indesign.
  • Supporting writing Sustainable Operation Plans for hotels using One Planet sustainability framework.
  • Attendance on weekly project conference calls with international consultant team. Calls often occur between 6pm and 9pm.

Employment Type

Casual (Initially averaging 10-20 hours per week)

Compensation

$25-$35/hour + 9.5% super. Negotiable based on experience.
