Our world headquarters is located in Houston, Texas, USA, and our international office is in Brisbane, Australia.

We are looking for a highly experienced FULL-TIME Electronics Engineer with experience on FPGA to join our team. You must have or be eligible to apply for full-time work rights in Australia. In order to be successful in this position, you must have the following skills and experience:

  1. No less than 2 years highly related work experience;
  2. Demonstrate a successful record in problem solving skills;
  3. Hands-on field work experience including in research and development;
  4. Continue learning, keep up with the current and new industry standards and technologies;
  5. Project management skills, including the ability to multi-task, work to tight deadlines and perform under pressure;
  6. Strong communication skills both orally and in writing;
  7. Work as a team;
  8. Experience in all FPGA development aspects, including developing simulation and build environment from scratch;
  9. Familiar with Microsemi and Altera FPGA devices and toolchains;
  10. Be proficient in Altium Designer for Schematics and Layout design;
  11. Solid understanding of critical medical device standards (60601-1);
  12. Experience in different coding and scripting languages (Python, VHDL, RTL, Bash Shell, Matlab).

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Participate in all aspects of the development, implementation and verification of FPGA and electronics;
  2. Collaboration with vendors in the following areas: Microprocessor-based embedded software development and testing, FPGA and electronic hardware design and Automated test platforms;
  3. Support system development by working closely with other developers to define and optimize the hardware, FPGA and embedded software systems;
  4. Develop prototype FPGA/VHDL code and implementation to test and debug prototype hardware configurations;
  5. Develop and support test procedures and reports for prototypes: FPGA, Embedded Software and Hardware Evaluation;
  6. Design, implement and assemble different prototypes of circuit and schematics for the controller.
