Your new company
Your new company is one of the world’s leading manufacturers and produces a variety of different products across its manufacturing sites worldwide. As a market leader, your new company has been in the industry for many years and has a reputation as one of the best in the market. There is a requirement for a National Safety Manager to join the team on an ongoing and immediate basis.

Your new role
Reporting to the company’s Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing, implementing and leading Health & Safety strategies for the ANZ business.
  • Training, coaching and developing senior leaders within the business on health and safety practices.
  • Putting in place Risk Management initiatives and ensuring they are being correctly adhered to.
  • Reporting including incident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Taking the lead in improving the company’s current safety model and organisational processes which will help to identify new business for the company.
  • Building relationships within the business and provide site management with technical support and advice.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Relevant Qualifications relating to WHS or equivalent.
  • Background in manufacturing, logistics or a similar environment.
  • Previous experience managing a team with outstanding leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong understanding of the latest WHS legislation and industry practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships and influence Senior Executives.
