About KJ Carpentry

KJ Carpentry are a locally owned carpentry company, operating across the Perth metro area for over five years. Servicing from Joondalup to Rockingham, we mainly work with roof carpentry, however also service other forms of carpentry. We aim to deliver superior quality and workmanship in every project we complete.

About the role

We are seeking a Roof Carpentry Apprentice to join our team. Ideally, we are seeking someone who is committed to working in the industry and committed to their ongoing learning and training. This is a great opportunity for someone to either gain their start in the industry or for an apprentice to re-commence their apprenticeship. Mature aged apprentices are encouraged to apply.

Duties include but are not excluding:

  • Assisting tradesmen with their work
  • Various installation work
  • Undertaking work and understanding the process from start to finish
  • Working towards completion of the requirements of the trade qualification

This is a full-time apprenticeship.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A genuine interest in the industry with a strong willingness to learn
  • Strong commitment to ongoing learning and training
  • The ability to work in a team environment
  • Sound numeracy and literacy skills
  • A current Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
  • A White Card (or be willing to obtain one)
