Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking an experienced Work Health & Safety Manager to join our team!

Do you have experience in work health and safety management in a large diverse service industry organisation, with knowledge of WHS legislation, relevant Australian Standards and NSW Health policy directives?

The Sydney Local Health District Work Health and Safety (WHS) Manager provides leadership and direction for the WHS function within the Sydney Local Health District, including oversight, co-ordination and support of District-wide work health and safety improvement strategies, audits and projects. 
The SLHD WHS Manager interfaces with stakeholders to identify potential WHS risk issues and work in collaboration with them to develop associated prevention strategies and related training programs. 

This role also provides guidance and support to SLHD facility and service staff in relation to SafeWork investigations and other serious incidents, and represents SLHD at NSW Health committees, working parties and other external forums as required.
