Job Description

  • Segment the market to identify ideal market opportunities to acquire new business which results in repeatable sustainable growth within the Building Industry
  • Develop strategies and transform these into sales plans that deliver tactical wins
  • Build a volume pipeline by increasing the conversion rates of quotes and driving repeat usage
  • Engage and influence all stakeholders throughout the sales process. These include manufacturers, direct users, commercial builders, installers and a number of other industries
  • Drive the execution of all sales and related matters including market research, communication, product management, product mix, sales processes, and customer service
  • Provide support to customers by clearly understanding and communicating the product use and value propositions, fostering long term relationships and growth outcomes.
  • Utilise CRM to record sales activities, customer data, and other market data and insights Coordination of weekly / monthly reports of sales against targets and recording of all sales activities and information in Microsoft Dynamics (CRM Program)

The Successful Applicant

  • A proven track record of success in directly driving and capitalising on market sales opportunities with products within the Fastner space (connect into timber)
  • Proven track record of delivering high standard of customer service and having a strong personal customer service ethic
  • Good personal organisation skills, including work flow management, time management and using a planned approach to deliver outcomes
  • A strong capability for gap analysis, planning and priority setting
  • Strong opportunity identification skills and an eye for detail on a customer's site
