TICKETED SCAFFOLDER / MR DRIVER

Our client located on the Northern Beaches is seeking a Ticketed Scaffolder to join this well-established company in the construction and trades business for the past 27 years. Our client is known for its excellent reputation and now has an opening for a skilled person to join their team.

This position will suit someone who is now looking for a change in their current role or someone who is semi-retired. You will be responsible for the co-ordination, transport and delivery of scaffolding to building sites.

You will receive the necessary training and support from the company’s team, but the role will be fairly autonomous. Your motivated and enthusiastic attitude coupled with excellent communication skills will be highly regarded as you will be providing a service to both internal and external customers.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Providing technical knowledge, expertise and supervision for erecting and dismantling scaffold.
  • Ensure scaffold is built to standard and with professionalism.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with the Site Supervisor and ability to follow instructions.
  • Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work as a part of a team.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Excellent working knowledge of workplace health and safety as inspections checks and safety audits will be a part of this role.
  • Experience using both hand and power tools.
  • Scaffolding Ticket is essential 
  • General induction card (white card)
  • Physically fit as some heavy lifting is a part of this role.
  • MR/HR Licence
  • Full PPE
  • Have an enthusiastic and positive attitude towards work.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working in a similar environment.
  • Proven stable work history.
  • Able to demonstrate a high attention to detail.
  • Basic skills in computers: MS Word and email.

  • Hardworking and a team player as you will be required to work autonomously as well within a team environment. 
  • Be flexible to work some overtime and be available for early A.M. starts.
