Senior Estimator required for a Sydney based Civil Contractor.

Your new company

A role has come up for an accomplished civil estimator to come on board to a mid-sized Civil company. The company are consistently on the up and have an extensive pipeline of work on the horizon in which they are looking for a senior civil estimator to help grow with the business.

Your new role

• Review tender and contract documents
• Deliver prompt submissions to clients and lead the estimating team
• Putting together competitive and accurate tenders to match various scopes of work
• Take part in the resolution of the programming issues and systems of methods

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum of 5 years' experience estimating civil projects including bulk earthworks, demolition, storm water, roads & pavements in the local Australian market
• Knowledge of the NSW construction market including sub-contractors
• Ability to show analytical skills, communication and a proven record of tendering
• Experience of first principles to develop estimates for large civil operations
• Relationship building experience with old and new clients
• Site experience in a project-based management role
• Strong computer proficiency coupled with attention to detail in drawings and specifications
