JOB DESCRIPTION
Estimator required in Northern Sydney for small commercial projects across Sydney.
Your new company
- Up and coming construction company focusing on commercial and government projects
- Work load has increased dramatically in the last few months and therefore the business is growing
- Projects up to the $1.5m mark spread between new build and modification work
Your new role
- Completing submissions and tenders from pre-tender through to handover
- You prepare initial estimating assessments, liaising with sub-contractors to perform sub-contractor selection
- Preparing presentation of BOQs and final tender presentation to clients
- Assisting in subcontractor selections
- Reporting in to senior management
What you'll need to succeed
- Ability to gain rapport with clients and maintain relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and on multiple jobs autonomously
- Prior experience on commercial new build and renovation up to $1.5m
