Your new company
My client is a well established commercial builder who have been in operation for over 25 years, they specialise in delivering commercial new build projects and fit-outs/refurbishments throughout Victoria. Due to recently won projects, they are looking to bring on a Site Manager to join the team, initially starting off on a $4m project in Altona.

Your new role

• Predominantly building Childcare centres and Medical clinics throughout metro Melbourne.
• Coordinating Subcontractors and in-house trades on-site.
• Effectively implement and manage OH+S procedures on-site.
• Procure building materials, plant and equipment hire and effectively manage site resources.
• Quality assurance on all stages through construction.
• Liaise with the Director to ensure projects are completed on-time and cost-effectively.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience as a Site Manager in Melbourne on similar Commercial new build projects.
• Ability to coordinate in-house structures trades.
• Ambition to commit to the company long term.
• Ability to travel throughout metro Melbourne.
• Trades (carpentry) qualification preferred.
• Overseas candidates with no Melbourne experience will not be suitable for this position.
