Multiple Senior Project Manager -Buildings positions available commencing asap


Your new company
A flourishing state government organisation with an established and warm team are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager, with either an engineering or architectural background, for an initial 6 month assignment with the intention to extend beyond to help in the delivery of multiple high profile and significant community projects.

Your new role
Multiple position available including;

  • Principal Project Managers
  • Senior Project Managers
  • Buildings Project Managers

You will play a key role in the delivery of multiple concurrent time-critical and highly complex building infrastructure projects state-wide in varying stages including pre-planning, construction and handover. You will provide your expertise in feasibility, design management, procurement of contractors (tenders, RFQ etc), contracts admin, as well as overseeing all delivery activities involving multiple consultancies and high profile stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed
  • tertiary qualified in either Architecture or Engineering with a focus on building projects
  • high level of technical knowledge of building and construction projects, delivering highly complex, infrastructure projects with multiple consultancies and stakeholders
  • ability to manage multiple large scale projects concurrently
  • exceptional stakeholder engagement and contractor management including negotiation and conflict resolution
  • have strong contract management experience
  • excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • high level strategic thinking with demonstrated ability to apply strategic assessment and risk management frameworks and principles
  • Able to manage and oversee the full life cycle of projects (including feasibility, design management, tendering and contract administration) with a focus of identifying risks and establishing risk mitigation processes
