Your new role

The Signalling Project Engineer, will report directly to the Signalling Manager, and will be in charge of Design and Installation of all the Signalling facilities. Other responsibilities include:

• On Board equipment, Points, trackside equipment, Interlockings, train detection system and traffic regulation
• They will manage the overall design phase, for the above mentioned scope, to ensure the design is completed in a timely and cost effective manner
• Ensuring the design is produced in conformance with the Principal’s Brief or other stated objectives; Then manage the overall construction stage to ensure the that the construction is done in a timely and cost effective manner according to the design and the local regulations
• Will Liaise with the Principal or their representative, as necessary;
• Additionally will have to liaise with the Subcontractors in charge of the related scope ensuring technical compliance to the specifications

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven work experience (3 years minimum) railway projects Proven Knowledge of Railway technology.Specifically knowledge in Light Rail Signalling Knowledge of Design procedures
• Proven experience in Installation/construction methodologies of Signalling facilities in a railway project
• Experience with office management software like MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically)
• Strong organisation skills with a problem-solving attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Engineering Diploma (BIM methodologies knowledge is a plus)
