Managed Service Provider in Newcastle Seeking experienced IT Helpdesk Engineer to Join their growing team.

Your new role

In your new role you will be responsible for providing quality first and second level technical support and service to fulfil the needs of our clients. You will also need to:

  • Provide fast and accurate 1st level support and service provision to a specified client base
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction leading to retention and referrals
  • Liaise with end users, internal staff, 3rd party vendors and suppliers to complete work on time
  • Be self reliant in managing own work queues to complete work within given time frames and priorities.
  • Complete time recording and tickets accurately, with a high level of detail in all fields
  • Complete fix or escalate issue to peers, colleagues or other staff as per the work flow escalation process.

What you'll need to succeed
To ensure you are successful in this role you would have:
  • Previous experience working in similar IT support role
  • Exceptional communication skills including a professional telephone manner
  • Knowledge of MS operating environments and applications, networks and end user devices (laptops, PCs etc)
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Drive to deliver high quality service
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Professional phone manner
  • Reliable and consistent time management skills
  • Valid Drivers Licence
