The role:

The Construction Labourer will assist with the full range of civil construction and maintenance activities of Council across the Municipality in a safe and efficient manner.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Class C drivers licence.
  • WHS Construction Induction White Card.
  • Recent civil labouring experience.
  • Concrete formwork and finishing experience.
  • General literacy and numeracy skills.

About you:

Kiama Municipal Council is seeking reliable Construction Labourers to join our Works team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone accustomed to hands on work, looking for a job that has variety and gives you access to great training in a positive working environment.

We offer:

  • Permanent full time, 38 hours per week, 9 day fortnight
  • Salary from $912.19 to $961.96 (depending on qualifications, skills and experience)
  • plus 9.5% superannuation
  • Access to the Fitness Passport
