The Role

A rare and exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Mechanical Drafting professional in our Canberra office.

Key to successfully delivering this role will be your ability to manage, plan, resource and complete assigned drafting projects within agreed budgets and deadlines, in line with consistent company and project standards. Consistently producing quality documents in agreed time frames will be fundamental.

The Candidate

As the successful candidate you will possess:

  • 4 + years’ experience in delivering small to large-scale projects of LOD 300/400 benchmark in Mechanical, experience in other building services disciplines is an advantage (Acoustics, Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics and Fire), working in design consultancies.
  • Ability to perform clash detection testing on coordinated Revit models.
  • Previous mentoring experience desirable
  • Strong team ethics with the ability to work independently.
  • Enthusiasm along with a passion for the building services industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to speak and write clearly, concisely, and compellingly.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to continually finds ways to overcome challenges and obstacles.
  • Works collaboratively across functional groups.
