Due to our continued international success, and building on a 25+ year presence in the Australian Market, we recently opened a brand-new office in Brisbane’s Murarrie district.  We are now seeking a Technical Support Specialist as a key point of contact for customers with queries about product installation, usage, troubleshooting, repair and product development.

Working as part of Link’s global Technical Support team, this role is responsible for providing global Technical Support during rostered hours (typically Monday-Friday, midday to 8.30pm) to enable our “follow- the-sun” 24/6 global coverage.

Reporting to our Brisbane-based Global Technical Support Manager, key responsibilities include:

  • Providing customer support via several means including: email, telephone, webchat, forum and Facebook messages and ensuring that appropriate/ proactive action is consistently taken to build/maintain great customer relationships.
  • Managing Customer information, issues and feedback in a timely, accurate and totally professional manner.
  • Maintaining and sharing product/service knowledge + expertise to help grow Link to be the most sought-after performance technology in the world.
  • Providing support at trade shows, exhibitions and events.

To be in the running for this outstanding opportunity, you will need: 

  • A positive personality with at least 3 years’ proven experience in a customer facing technical support role preferably also with engine tuning/auto mechanical experience.
  • An HSC or TAFE certificate in engineering or equivalent or relevant experience / apprenticeship (NB: A degree in electrical / motorsport engineering or similar would be advantageous).
  • Exceptional people skills as well as being self-reliant, resilient and highly proactive.
  • To be a small team player where we all ‘muck in’ and do what we need to do to make it happen.
  • To be able to occasionally travel nationally + internationally (including on weekends) to attend motorsport tradeshows and for training etc.
  • A Motorsports/electronics background, knowledge of ECU’s and experience with ERP/CRM packages are also desirable but not essential.
