We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced mechanical engineer to join the team in a large company with modern workshop in the South of Brisbane for a permanent position.

Immediate start available for the right candidate.

Duties Include - 

• Plan & design engine installations integrated with hydraulic and electrical systems
• Meet local legislation and put consideration into perspective international markets
• Make improvements and innovations to hydraulic applications
• Run diagnostics and fault find on 12v electrical applications
• General drafting with Autocad and Inventor
• Undertake risk assessments
• Costing and materials sourcing
• Prepare technical designs and drawings

• Bachelor of engineering 
• Strong understanding of piston engines, load limitations, vibration assessments and other elements
• Strong understanding of assembly, machining and fabrication
• High level of Autodesk Inventor 3D experience
• ERP/MRP system experience
• Able to design hydraulic schematic drawings
• Background with heavy machinery experience highly regarded
• Ability to work unsupervised

• Permanent position
• Salary $80-$90k +
