Your new role

• You will be providing technical support, advice and solutions to the Port operations, maintenance and project functions
• You will be covering for personnel on a secondment for a period of 6 months initially
• Working to the company's safety standards and regulations
• Providing scope of works for structural remedial works, design calculations
• Liaising with the drafting team, certifying design drawings and review fabrication drawings
• Providing support during execution phase and responding to technical queries and quality assurance

What you'll need to succeed

• Structural or Civil Engineering qualification
• Valid Australian Drivers licence
• Maritime Security Identity Card
• Detailed design and site based experience with material handling structures and processing plants in Australia
• Brown field experience in asset management in civil and structural assets
• Proven ability to utilise Space GASS and Strand 7
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
