JOB DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this role is to provide technical advice and support on energy efficiency products our client manufactures and distributes to their clientele. This is a specialised position that will see you involved from the initial customer enquiry through to the sale and subsequent installation process. This is a relatively new team within the business so they are ideally looking for someone with construction industry knowledge and expertise ideally in solar/ energy solutions.

As the Technical Services Engineer, your duties will include:

  • Assist clients in navigating and understanding their energy requirements and provide expert advice on products to suit their specific needs
  • Provide design drafting services for energy systems using tools like CAD, SolidWorks, Excel etc
  • Schedule site visits and installs with local Installation team
  • Assist Field Service teams with all Technical, Design and System Diagnostics support
  • Drive complex design, service, and warranty issues to resolution
  • Follow up with customers in relation to payments and their feedback on services
  • Engage in essential QA reporting
  • Data entry using company CRM and workflow systems to deliver efficient customer service
  • Meet customer service, lead conversion and sales KPI's

To be considered, you will possess:

  • At minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree in either Electrical, Electronics, PV or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 1-year Technical Post-Graduation experience
  • Ideally a background in electrical work, electronics, solar/energy, telecommunication or construction
  • You will be a professional, diligent and dedicated self-starter with the ability to work within our client’s framework with a high level of autonomy (after training period)
  • Fast and accurate data entry
  • Intermediate or above in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport across a diverse customer range

Location: Under 9km radius of Baulkham Hills NSW 2153

Duration: 6-month minimum with opportunity for permanency
