JOB DESCRIPTION

Who We Are

Operating successfully and continuously for almost 70 years, Saunders' considerable knowledge and experience ensures we provide to our clients a range of innovative solutions for their individual project specifications. We have an extensive portfolio of upcoming projects, delivering large and complex solutions including terminal expansions, engineering procurement, tank and bridge construction and remediation projects.

There is currently a great opportunity to join our Sydney-based proposals team as an Estimator/Proposals Coordinator. The role is based at our new Rhodes office, close to public transport and easy commuting. You will play a critical role within a supportive team, developing estimates and submitting proposals for potential works across the country and Oceania. Some travel will be required to visit customer sites to better inform your winning tender submissions.

While the role is expected to be ongoing, both full and part time interested applications will be considered. Training will be provided to bring you up to speed on the Saunders way and OneTeam philosophy.

The right person will:

  • have a background in or understanding of the mechanical aspects of construction
  • be familiar with reading detained design drawings
  • be commercially focussed when reading and assessing job specifications
  • have experience in tank construction and/or estimating, but not essential
  • have valid Driver’s License
  • be able to work within a team and unsupervised
  • be committed to high safety and quality standards
  • demonstrate excellent communication and time management skills
  • be willing to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol test
  • show proof of right to work in Australia – please provide a valid passport (along with visa if applicable) or birth certificate.

Comprehensive COVID-19 measures including strict hygiene practices and social distancing are in place on the work site to help protect you and your teammates.

This is an ideal opportunity to join an established and successful publicly listed company (ASX:SND) growing in the engineering and construction market.

If you are confident you are the right fit, then JOIN OUR TEAM NOW!
