Full Job Description
You must have a keen interest in civil engineering and construction and have a willingness to learn and grow in this role to be an experienced civil designer.

Qualifications:
The successful candidates should have completed a Certificate IV in Drafting, Engineering or Civil design, or have currently enrolled to complete the Certificate IV or Diploma.

Position Number: 100690 & 100691

Position Hours: Full-time, 75 hours per fortnight.

Salary:
Schedule A Salary Point 4 (from $55,853.45 to $61,275.76) to Salary Point 10 (from $67,779.21 to $76,283.44) plus 13.5% superannuation in accordance with Glenorchy City Council’s Enterprise Agreement 2016.

Commencing salary will be in accordance with the successful candidates’ qualifications and experience. For instance, a successful candidate has no relevant experience but is in the process of obtaining the Certification IV in Drafting or equivalent will commence from Salary Point 4. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to move from Salary Point 4 to Salary Point 10 upon completion of qualifications, acquiring experience and work performance.
