About The Role

Stratco is looking for a passionate, motivated and professional individual who has a strong work ethic and an enthusiastic attitude. Located in our Adelaide head office, you will play a key role in the estimating, planning, quoting and design of home improvement products.

You will be responsible for resolving discrepancies by collecting and analysing information, and communicating & collaborating across several departments including trade & retail sales, production, purchasing, logistics & engineering.

Skills And Attributes

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering and/or Design qualifications
• Recent graduate, or up to 5 years commercial experience
• Demonstrated design/drafting background
• Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD or other CAD programs
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat editing or other Adobe Suite software
• Background or understanding of general engineering principles, although not essential, would be beneficial
• Strong customer focus with an eye for detail and a sense of urgency to achieve results
• Highly organised, disciplined with proven creative problem solving ability
• Ability to quickly and accurately read plans, complete costings, take offs and design skills in the home improvement and building industry will be a distinct advantage.
