Salary package (Grade 5) in the range of $98,396-$119,052 per annum (plus 9.5% super), will be negotiated with the successful candidate, depending on skills and experience.

We are looking for proactive people skills in:
*
  • Possess of a current Victorian registration as a Building Inspector (limited or unlimited – refer to position description for more details)
  • Relevant experience in conducting site inspections and audits in a regulatory environment on all classes of commercial and domestic
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of the Victorian Building Regulatory Framework contained in the Building Act 1993, Building Regulations 2018 and the National Construction Code (Volume One and Two) and relevant standards and codes
  • Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
