At HPE, we believe our success is based on the success of our customers. The HPE GreenLake CoLo Architect will play a key role standardizing and automating the Trial environment. In this role, you will partner closely with our Trial engineers, GreenLake Managed Services, GreenLake offering specialist and GreenLake R&D teams to build and maintain the Trial environment for HPE GreenLake offerings. As the HPE GreenLake CoLo architect, you will be responsible for ensuring the CoLo experiences for customers is smooth and consistent across the CoLo’s from onboarding through the execution of their Trial period.

Primary job responsibilities:

  • Leads the CoLo Trial data center architecture and standards coordinating and collaborating with HPE subject manager experts.
  • Manage the onboarding of new offerings into the Trial environment.
  • Define and build automation solutions to support the end-to-end Trial experience across the various CoLo's
  • Knowledgeable in:
  • DevOps/ModOps Principles - CICD, Build Pipelines, SCMs, Testing, Artifacts, Automation tools
  • Cloud Management Platforms/Systems and Self-Service Provisioning - Morpheus, VCF, ServiceNow
  • Programming and Scripting - python, powershell, shell scripting, javascript
  • Observability, Visibility, and Monitoring - Datadog, Splunk
  • Configuration Management - Ansible, Puppet
  • Automation and Orchestration, Process Automation - Ansible, Terraform
  • API Integration - REST/SOAP
  • Infrastructure - Virtualization, Containers, Physical Compute, Storage, Network, Cloud, Load Balancing, HA, Databases
  • Operating Systems - Linux, Windows, Unix
  • Build and maintain relationships with Trial partners (e.g., GreenLake Managed Services, Trial engineers, Pointnext, A&PS, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Troubleshooting and Problem Solving

Education and Experience Required:
Industry experience - minimum 10 to 15 years Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to lead the architectural design, development, deployment, and automation needs in support of HPE GreenLake offerings within the Trial and Demo environment
  • Demonstrated success managing large, complex projects
  • Proven ability to present complex ideas in an accessible and engaging way
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in emails, phone calls, presentations and internal meetings and the ability to communicate effectively with development communities
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, and detail-oriented thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a team and demonstrate “we” instead of “me,” with a strong passion for exceeding customer expectations
  • Knowledgeable of leading on-premise and cloud services environments: RedHat, VMWare, Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.

  • Bachelor degree in a technical or engineering field or 5-10 years of practical experience

The Colorado expected salary/wage range for this position is listed immediately below, although we reserve the right to offer above this range for exceptional candidates. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. Bonus, commission, and/or equity may also be offered. Information about employee benefits offered can be found at (userid: benefits / password: preview). Annual Salary: $107,600.00 - $156,000.00
