Full Job Description
The Hutchins School in Sandy Bay are currently searching for someone to join their facilities management team. This will be an all-encompassing role to assist in maintaining their outstanding grounds and gardens at their Sandy Bay campus. This traineeship position will also involve completion of a Certificate III in Landscape Construction.
The successful candidate ideally will have some prior experience in a parks and gardens environment and have a genuine interest in horticulture and turf/greens management.
You’ll need to be physically fit, self-motivated and have a good eye for detail to be successful in this role. In addition, the successful candidate will also work with the facilities team doing general maintenance to ensure the tidiness and upkeep of the whole school campus
As this position will be in a School environment, you’ll be expected to have (or be able to obtain)
A National Police Check
A Working with Vulnerable Persons Check
A First Aid Certificate
In addition, you’ll need to have a drivers’ license and a white card prior to commencement in this role. You’ll need to be reasonably fit and healthy as this is a physically-based role.
