About The Role

We have a permanent opportunity for an Engineer - Treatment Design to undertake, manage and support the efficient design and delivery of ‘fit for purpose’ water and water resource recovery treatment infrastructure. This role is based in our Leederville office, reporting to the Team Leader - Treatment Design.

What The Role Will Offer
  • Undertake and coordinate complex concept, engineering and detailed design activities for water and water resource recovery treatment infrastructure
  • Prepare job briefs for the engagement of consultants, evaluate consultant proposals and make recommendations
  • Undertake the role of Design Manager for nominated projects and review outputs and performance for conformity to agreed requirements, standards, time and cost
  • Undertake and manage the preparation of tender documents, examine tenders and make recommendations

Key Skills And Experience
  • Degree level qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline
  • Experience in and knowledge of design, commissioning, operations or project management
  • Experience in the preparation and review of technical reports and tender specifications for water and water resource recovery infrastructure
  • Professional engineering experience in water and water resource recovery planning and design
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse existing and / or proposed infrastructure assets in order to evaluate engineering and economic effectiveness and to present viable recommendations
  • Sound knowledge of water and water resource recovery related infrastructure assets and systems
