VEC is a dynamic single source Tasmanian-based contractor recognised as a leader. We specialise in road and rail works, civil construction, bridge design and construction, water infrastructure and steel fabrication services.

An opportunity has become available for a Civil Supervisor to join our multidisciplined team. This is a great opportunity for a self-driven Supervisor (or Foreman ready to step up) and work with an enthusiastic and driven team.

Central to this role is the delivery of contractual requirements of work crews within agreed budgets.

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications in project management, supervision or construction management (Cert IV in Project Management or similar equivalent)

Efficient supervision of crews, plant, machinery and subcontractors on site

Previous experience in civil construction industry will be essential

Strong safety focus with demonstrated evidence of actively promoting and sustaining a Zero harm environment

Commitment to quality outcomes with a focus on delivering in full and on time

Well-developed skills in planning and scheduling

The ability to work away from home

A successful track record of proactively building relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

Effective written and verbal communication skills
