Job Description:

Reporting directly to the Audit Services Director, you will be responsible to ensure excellence in our daily Operations and to lead and grow our team and expansion strategy in Australia/NZ.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop your own clients’ portfolio; Identify and nurture your prospects, maintaining good contact with them, and successfully closing deals.
  • Encourage our existing clients to consider additional services and make sure they’re making the best use of the tools we provide them (such as our online dashboard).
  • Recruit, Train, Monitor and Manage a Team of Auditors with the highest standard of service level and integrity, and able to cover multiple Food-related Audit and Certifications (GFSI schemes, 2nd party Audit);
  • Define, Implement, Execute, and Improve our Food Audit Standard Operating Procedures in Australia/NZ, based on International Best Practices, internal and external stakeholders’ feedback;
  • Ensure close and excellent communication with our Food Audit clients in Australia/NZ to provide a top quality of service and provide a regular feedback internally regarding clients’ satisfaction and areas of improvements;
  • Coordinate and Oversee our Food Audit Activity in Australia/NZ – planning, preparation, reporting;
  • Lead Food Audits on suppliers’ site, and report accurately and completely the findings against the standards being Audited;
  • Nurture your knowledge ofindustry requirements and foster the sharing of knowledge to team members for continuously improving audits processes;

Your profile:

In order to be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A master's degree in Agricultural/Food Safety related area;
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Food Safety Audits and Certification;
  • A strong knowledge and understanding of the Food Safety Certification Industry, norms and standards;
  • An extensive track record of Food Safety Audits and certification completed;
  • Very good communication and people’s skills, ability to engage with all internal and external stakeholders and maintain network;
  • A strong business sense and passion for client service and business development.
  • Management experience and being keen to develop your management skills;
  • Capacity to prioritize effectively and manage your time well, enabling you to work under tight deadlines;
  • A good team player spirit.
