An exciting opportunity is available in a long-established Installation of cable products Networking and civil construction company, specialising in underground civil work and Installation on the Telstra, NBN and Power networks. Our core business focuses working on live and active networks to install and upgrade infrastructure. Experience in this field of work is preferred. Experience in Installation of services on FTTP HFC FTTC and HFC will assist and training will be provided the successful applicant in joining our team.

The applicant should have ability to work in a team responsible quick leaner and work rights.

Roles and responsibilities

• have a understanding of network and interest in the delivery of telecommunications solutions and applications
• strong understanding of health and safety compliance requirements, and ensure that safety requirements are adhered to and any issues addressed as a priority
• Experience in design and operations of Telecommunications facilities including towers, telecoms equipment rooms including associated power and cooling systems
• Proven understanding of multiple client network topologies and associated Radio access network (RAN), Fibre Optical and Microwave Transmission infrastructure
• Ability to understand and implement RAN, RF, and Transmission designs
• Installation radio telecommunications equipment and cabling (Structured cabling proficiencies)
• Installation radio telecommunications equipment and cabling (Structured cabling proficiencies)
• Strong computing and networking skills
• Installation and commissioning experience in high capacity transmission equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical construction and site installation drawings
• Experience in Corrective Maintenance Execution and Preventive Maintenance Execution
• Be resourceful, maintain excellent analytical/problem-solving skills, be a quick learner, committed and hard-working.
• Maintain customer satisfaction as a high priority

Certificates and Education

• Cable Hauling
• Must be degree or Equivalent in Telecommunication Engineering .
• Construction Industry Card (White Card)
• First Aid level 2 including CPR
• Traffic Management Certificate
• Open cable license (ACMA License)
• Enable accredited
