Position summary
Downer Water Services South has an opportunity for a Project Engineer Mechanical to join the team in a full-time permanent role in our joint venture with Melbourne Water, the Melbourne Water Safety Focused Performance Joint Venture (SFPJV). The role will be based in Eastern Treatment Plant in Bangholme Melbourne and report to the Project Manager

This role supports the Project Manager is delivering mechanical aspects of the upgrades at Eastern Treatment Plant.
THE ROLE
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide on-site engineering services to the Project Manager to assist in the achievement of project objectives
ABOUT YOU

• Demonstrated experience in recent site delivery of a Water/Wastewater construction projects
• Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering
• Demonstrated experience in wastewater treatment plant or water network construction
• Delivered construction projects in a Tier 1 contractor(desirable)
• Demonstrated experience in management of Site Engineers and subcontractors
• Understanding of relevant specifications, quality analysis and problem-solving skills
