Tenable Network Security is seeking a rockstar Channel Sales Engineer to support consultative style selling and targeted solution demos of enterprise opportunities with our channel partners.You will assist in developing business value propositions around Tenable Network Security products and solutions. You will drive sales success with your technical knowledge, understanding of continuous Vulnerability Management, technical account management skills, sales ability, and a strong customer-first focus. You will be a critical resource to our channel partners and a key sales team partner working to achieve or exceed revenue targets for your region and Tenable.

Your Opportunity

  • Deliver and enable our channel partners to deliver solution-oriented technical presentations and product demos of Tenable Enterprise products
  • Help our partners manage "Proof of Concept" evaluations with enterprise opportunities
  • Answer technical questions and provide consultative security & compliance expertise to clients and prospects
  • Be the front line, partner and customer facing eyes & ears for the PM and Engineering teams
  • Consistently contribute knowledge and skills to the Sales Engineering team
  • Never stop learning and constantly seeking out training and new skills
  • Position may require 25% - 50% travel in region

What You'll Need
  • 5-7 years of direct pre-sales SE experience
  • Experience working directly with the channel
  • Experience with Nessus or other vulnerability scanning technologies
  • Solid foundational knowledge of TCP/IP and network security concepts
  • Experience with Redhat Enterprise Server/CentOS, etc. at command-line level
  • Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., PCI, FISMA, SOX, NERC)
  • Experience and ability to interpret complex technical requirements and map Tenable solutions to them
  • Understanding that effective product demos are not about showing the product, they are an opportunity to show how we can solve problems
  • Familiarity with Web Application Scanning
  • Familiarity with Container Technology/Security
  • Pluses: Bachelor's Degree, CISSP, GSEC, GCIH, CEH
