Your new role

Forming part of the senior leadership team, you will manage the Systems Engineering function across the companies ongoing and future projects. You will play a critical part in guiding systems engineering services across projects (current and future) across the entire systems engineering lifecycle. You will be lead the top tier delivery of all Systems Engineering artefacts across each project within a multidiscipline environment. Alongside engineering management, you will play a key role in subcontractor technical management and customer engagement and realtionships to support project objectives. An ability to lead from the front, have strong technical capability and an ability to form relationships with both internal and external stakeholders is key.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Current or Dormant NV1 and ITAR Compliance.
  • Engineering degree and extensive engineering experience in a commercial environment.
  • Demonstratable experience leading an engineering team.
  • A Masters of Engineering degree in C4I centric discipline (e.g. Communications, Information Systems, Software, Electrical) would be highly regarded.
  • Experience working with software, communications and system integration projects
  • Experience and understanding of System Safety Engineering and System Security Engineering
  • Defence engineering projects and Project Management skills.
  • You will have ASDEFCON and TRAMM-L experience and understanding of these frameworks.
  • Excellent skills with managing subcontractors and Customer relationship management.
  • You will need a proactive and motivated attitude with a real passion for engineering management and leadership. Building a team and sustaining a great culture.
  • Negotiation skills and experience are a must.
